Songtime Campaign 2010Updated January 6, 2011 - still tabulating for year 2010 ...
We are continuing to tabulate the donations received in 2010, and we will continue to provide updates on this page. However, all donations given from this point forward apply to Campaign 2011. Please keep in mind that all donations are welcomed and needed, as we must raise approximately $63,000 per month to maintain current levels of ministry and media presence. Recent times have been very difficult for Songtime financially. In previous years (2009), in order to continue we needed to go through the difficult process of selling our building and downsizing and relocating the ministry to a much smaller facility. Songtime USA made these difficult but necessary changes to help alleviate some of the financial distress caused by insufficient funds in previous years. Our mission and purpose is to continue to use every means possible to communicate the truth from God's Word to God's people. There is also our continuing mission to reach the lost with the Good News in Jesus Christ. We believe that is especially important in the difficult days in which we live. We do not want to cut back on air time or eliminate stations, but these are extreme measures that would need to be considered if financial support should fall short. Midway through 2010 we reported that we were ~$120,000 behind our anticipated needs. Now, going into the 4th quarter of 2010, even with reduced expenses, we determined that starting in October we need to raise a total of ~$270,000 to finish "in the black". This is a reachable goal with your help. Our most expensive item is radio time and if we do not enter year 2011 with a surplus, we must again consider eliminating stations and cutting costs. With everyone participating we can raise the amount needed and maintain financial stability so that ministry operations will not be jeopardized. We will continue to keep this Emergency Appeal active, so I am sure you see this as a major concern. Thank you for continuing to share your concern according to Galatians 6:2 (Bear One Another's Burdens) and thanks for your help. John DeBrine
