The Red Sea Rules

Red Sea Rules 10 God-Given Strategies for Difficult Times

Just as Moses and the Israelites found themselves caught between "the devil and the deep Red Sea," so are we sometimes overwhelmed by life’s problems. But God delivered the Israelites, and He will deliver us too. The Red Sea Rules reveals, even in the midst of seemingly impossible situations, God’s promise to make a way for us. His loving guidance will protect us through danger, illness, marital strife, financial problems--whatever challenges Satan places in our path.

Using the Israelites’ story as an example, Robert Morgan offers ten sound strategies for moving from fear to faith. Among them: Realize that God means for you to be where you are. Acknowledge your enemy, but keep your eyes on the Lord. Pray. Life is hard, especially for Christians. It is certain that we will face difficulties, and that God will allow them, as He allowed the Israelites to become trapped between Pharaoh’s rushing armies and the uncrossable Red Sea. But just as certain is the fact that the same God who led us in will lead us out. As The Red Sea Rules makes comfortingly clear, He is in control.

This book is valuable for your library or for someone you care about. We are offering this book suggested gift of $25, available when you send your greatly needed gift that keeps Songtime on-line and on the air.

Still Available -- "A Treasured Faith" - Refining a Heart for the Riches of Christ

Jennifer Sands

A Treasured Faith “Jennifer’s life drastically changed on 9/11 when her husband was killed in the World Trade Center attacks. She was not a believer in Christ before then; God used that tragedy to bring forth her salvation as well as a writing and speaking ministry. God continued His work through her when her life changed again in 2007 as she was diagnosed with breast cancer. In A Treasured Faith, Jennifer candidly shares her heart and her struggles with treatments. But A Treasured Faith goes far beyond a battle with cancer. This book shares the wisdom and the wealth discovered when we dig deep enough into the Bible and into our soul. It reminds us of the valuable lessons that result from our joys and our trials. And it challenges us to examine and deepen our own relationship with the Lord.” With the book you get a Songtime USA exclusive audio encounter with Jennifer, in a nicely packaged CD album.

Your Giving ... Reaches Many ... Now It Can Reach More !!!

Thank you for your support of Songtime over the years. As we continue into 2010, we need to communicate with our supporters our financial needs for this year. We have made many cuts in our expennces and estimate that we will need approximately $780,000 in year 2010 to continue our current level of ministry. Your regular support enables us to minister daily on over 30 radio outlets as well as on-line, around the clock, around the world through Songtime.com, as well as the many other means we minister to thousands every day.

Stephen Olford, a great Bible expositor of the past, in his message “The Essentiality of Giving” states the importance of “Purposeful Regularity of Giving to God” (This message is a part of the “Songtime Galaxy of the Giants”, number CS-20). In this exposition of 1 Corinthians 16:1-2, he stresses the orderly and regular giving to the work of the Lord and that it should be a matter of theological conviction leading to practical expression and not the result of emotional appeals. In light of this teaching, we encourage our supporters to establish a regular giving routine to your local church body and to ministries such as Songtime USA.

Your promised support will help us plan for year 2010 and beyond as we continue to reach the lost and disciple the saved through our radio broadcasts, the Internet, and our CD and tape ministry.

The following list will give you an idea of what your financial support and prayers enables Songtime to do:

  • Minister on radio daily with the Gospel on over 30 radio stations to many thousands of listeners. Additionally our broadcast is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week over the Internet, heard by over 1,000 people per month.
  • Provide many resources (both audio and documents) on our website that reach all over the world. Songtime.com is accessed by over 12,000 people per month.
  • Minister to approximately 200 subscribers to our Audio Magazine.
  • Minister to approximately 200 members of our Bible Book-a-Month.
  • Send evangelism materials to military chaplains to reach our armed forces with the Gospel (over 5000 sent thus far).
  • Provide evangelism and discipleship tools to our listening audience (for example, in 2005, over 4500 Red Sox "Reversing the Curse" DVD’s were distributed)
  • Provide Newsletters that contain biblical teaching to approximately 10,000 subscribers.
  • Provide many teaching CDs, discipleship booklets, studies and articles at no charge to those in need of biblical teaching.
  • Helping others get exposure of God’s work in and through them by “sharing the microphone” with our “Many Voices, One Message” so that the body of Christ is strengthened and encouraged.

These are some of the projects that would be impossible without the financial support of people like you. In 2010, continue the developmentment and distribution of evangelism and discipleship tools, as well as ministering daily on radio and via the Internet.

Please prayerfully consider these opportunities and send your gift so that we can go forward with all the outreach opportunities in 2009. We cannot do it alone! Thanks again for your continued support of Songtime USA.

  • Your Gifts at Work

Songtime needs nearly $800,000 dollars per year to operate, using over 80% of your gifts directly on ministering the Good News via Radio, Printed or other Media, earning a 5-Star rating from Wallwatchers.org’s Ministry Watch Report*.

*MinistryWatch is an online database with profiles on more than 400 of the largest church and parachurch ministries in the United States. It is also a place where you can learn about how to be a “responsible giver”.

CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY -- A GIFT THAT PAYS!
Songtime is sponsoring a vehicle for contributing to the ministry, for those folks who have funds to invest but still wish to earn an income for their savings. The vehicle is called the
CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY. The Charitable Gift Annuity is a combination of a gift to charity (Songtime) and an annuity. For senior persons, annuity rates may be 6%, 7% or even higher! Since part of the annuity payment is a tax free return of the principal, the gift annuity may provide the donor with a very substantial income. The combination of partially tax free income and the initial charitable deduction makes this agreement quite attractive. Additionally, after all payments have been made for the life of the annuitant, a favorite charity (Songtime) will benefit from the charitable gift. If you have an interest in contributing in this manner, please contact the Songtime office or click here and a representative of the ministry will contact you with further information. Read "Why Charitable Trusts?" by Dan Celia of the Regency Foundation.

"Again and again, the Lord encourages him to be strong and of a good courage. There was only one condition which Joshua had to meet; he was to obey the Word of God without deviation. He was to meditate in it day and night. When one is saturated with the Word of God, he will instinctively do the Will of God." - Carl Armerding (June 2002 Bible Book-A-Month - Joshua)
